Rapper Wiz Khalifa Launches Depop Clothing Collab To Benefit Pittsburgh Schools

Rapper Wiz Khalifa, has dropped a custom clothing collaboration on Depop and all the money is going to benefit Pittsburgh Public Schools' music program.

The “See You Again” rapper made the  announcement in a video on his Twitter account on September 1.

“Yo, what up, it’s your boy Wiz Khalifa, I just dropped new pieces in my Depop store,” he says in the video. “All the proceeds go to Pittsburgh Public Schools to fund the music programs.”

“Thank you Wiz” the school district tweeted on Sept. 1, alongside a raised hand and head exploding emoticon.

The 34-year-old originally named Cameron Jibril Thomaz, was born in North Dakota and lived Germany, the UK, and Japan, before his family settled in Pittsburgh in 1996, where he attended the a Pittsburgh Public School, Taylor Allderdice High School, according to multiple media outlets.

Pittsburgh previously honored the raper by naming 12-12-12 "Wiz Khalifa Day," the Pittsburgh Post Gazette reported.

He also owns a home in Canonsburg, according to TribLive
